From county courts in Arkansas to complex federal matters, Jack focuses his practice on defending the accused, challenging government overreach, and doing his best to protect our constitutional rights. He represents people facing serious criminal charges, investigations, appeals, and post-conviction issues where liberty is at stake.

Before launching Lofton Law, Jack earned recognition as an award-winning documentary filmmaker and litigator willing to take on powerful institutions. His films have screened at major festivals, including Tribeca and the American Film Institute, and have been praised by national outlets including the New York Times and Variety for his work that challenges the system. Documentary work trained him to trace a story to its source, test a claim against the record, find the missing details, and make complicated facts understandable. Those same habits now drive his legal work.

Raised on a farm in Arkansas, Jack learned early what grit, long hours, and showing up every day mean. His commitment to civil liberties is equally personal: he has spent years confronting civil asset forfeiture, police overreach, prosecutorial misconduct, questionable searches, and the ways ordinary people can be steamrolled when no one pushes back. At Lofton Law, clients are not file numbers. They are American Citizens with individual stories, rights, and futures that require a competent and strong defense.
